There were 2 letterboxes at this location, however, only 1 could be found.  We enjoyed the beautiful scenery while searching.

Tired and hot.  We were ready to call it a day and be happy with our 5 letterbox finds!

We followed the clues in the Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, LA.  Although, the box was not to be found, we did meet this good looking guy!

This morning we headed out to do some Letterboxing.  After not finding any at Centenery, we found one that Sarah had already been to.  Katie and I were able to include this one in our journals as well.

Sarah was fortunate enough to be invited to do some letterboxing with friends!!  Lacee and Zoie searched with Sarah for the Fairfield, and found it at this Bed and Breakfast.

They also found Louisiana Boardwalk in this heart shaped tree stump. Pretty cool!

Mini Road Trip/ At Splash Kingdom

On Saturday, 7/9/11,  we found Mini Road Trip outside Splash Kingdom water park in Shreveport, LA.

Then we got cooled off inside the water park!

One out of 3 found!

We searched for 3 letterboxes today.  Found 1.  Satisfied for today. Maybe more tomorrow?

JEFFERSON, TEXAS

We traveled to Jefferson, Texas to celebrate our country's birthday.  While there, we searched for 3 letterboxes.  Two of them we found following the given clues and were satisfied with the thrill of the hunt!!! The third one was a bit more tricky.  We needed a map but, it being a holiday, the visitor information locations were closed.  So, it took us all day to piece together the clues using a map from the local newspaper and alot of walking and we found it!!!!!!

Yesterday we searched for our first Letterbox on the Shreveport riverfront.  Following the clues carefully, we found it!!!
